The policy of conflict of interests in the editorial board and management of the Journal of Educational Sciences at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.
1) A member of the editorial board of the journal and the management staff must exercise their duties with honesty and integrity, give priority to the interest of the journal over his personal interest, and not exploit his membership in the journal to achieve his own interests.
2) A member of the editorial board and the journal's management staff are prohibited from benefiting directly or indirectly from any research before it is published, and to be bound by scientific documentation when benefiting from scientific research after publication.
3) Members of the editorial board are prohibited from communicating directly or indirectly with researchers regarding their research, and written communication with the researcher is left to the editorial management for its competence.
4) The research that is sent to the reviewers does not contain anything indicating the identity of the researcher.
5) Research that requires changes after the review process, the changes request is sent to the researcher without disclosing the identity of the reviewers.
6) Members of the editorial board and the journal's management staff are obligated not to disclose confidential information related to the personalities of the reviewers or their reviewe report about research submitted for publication in the journal.
7) Members of the editorial board and the journal's management staff are committed to not accept any gifts or intercessions offered by the researcher.
To respect the intellectual property rights of others and support academic publishing standards, the Journal of Educational Sciences at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University adopts a zero-tolerance policy towards research related to research misconduct. Research misconduct includes plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate submission/multiple submissions, duplicate submission/multiple submissions, and and salami publication. According to the definition of publishing misconduct in a group of well-known research organizations, we have clarified the policies and criteria for research misconduct in the journal, as follows:
1) Plagiarism: Plagiarism is the appropriation of another person's thoughts, ideas, data, figures, research methods, or words without giving appropriate credit, or the over-citation of another person's published work.
2) Fabrication: Fabrication is the practice of making up data or results without having performed relevant research.
3) Falsification: Falsification is the practice of changing data or results intentionally such that misleading conclusion is drawn.
4) Duplicate submission/multiple submissions: Duplicate submission/multiple submissions refers to practice of submitting the same manuscript or several manuscripts with minor differences (e.g., differences only in title, keywords, abstract, author order, author affiliations, or a small amount of text) to two or more journals at the same time, or submitting to another journal within an agreed or stipulated period.
5) Overlapping publication: Overlapping publication refers to the practice of publishing a paper overlaps substantially with one already published.
6) Salami publication: Salami publication refers to the practice of slicing data from a large study,could have been reported in a single paper, into different pieces and publishing them in two or more articles, all of which cover the same population, methods, and question.
After confirming that the research submitted to the journal is linked to research misconduct, the following actions will be taken:
1) Reject the research or withdraw the published research.
2) Not accepting the research submitted by the same research team within two years.
3) Notify the institution of the corresponding author and supporting(s) of this misconduct.
4) The researcher pays the costs of the examination and review process.
The Journal of Educational Sciences at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University believes in protecting and preserving scientific research of the highest quality and expects researchers to adhere to publishing ethics from the start of submitting research to final publication.

Research withdrawal:
The research cannot be withdrawn after publication, and in the event that the research is not published, the researcher can submit an official written request to withdraw the research from the journal, stating all the reasons behind the request. The application is accepted if there are convincing reasons that are approved by the editorial board. The researcher also pays the costs of the initial research examination and review process that were paid by the journal.
Article Retraction
The publication is withdrawn after the research is published in the journal, and a request to withdraw publication from the researcher is considered in the event of any legal disputes or copyright violations related to specific research. The original research will be deleted from the issue on the journal's website. The researcher also pays the costs of the initial research examination and review process that were paid by the journal.
The Journal of Educational Sciences at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University does not currently impose any publication fees on researchers for publication or accessing research published in previous issues.
